Biography

Steve Dexter is a distingtuished speaker at Harvard Business School, Law School and the Graduate School of Design. As a mortgage broker, he has personally funded over $500M in real estate loans.  He is owner and manager of 27 investment opportunities located in California and around the country.

Steve Dexter is also author of Real Estate Debt Can Make your Rich published by McGraw-Hill, available at local bookstores.  Steve Dexter is a popular instructor at several local colleges and he is a member of the National Association of Real Estate Editors, a professional group of authors and major newspaper journalists who write about the national real estate market.

"I've always been fascinated by the world of finance and economics. In 1980, I started investing in the stock market but never made much money. It seemed everybody else was smarter than I. I always came late to the party after everybody else. When I got involved in real estate in 1990 and became a mortgage broker, my life slowly begins to change. I learned the ropes in the mortgage business, started investing in single family houses and now advise people on how to structure their loans and/or purchase their homes and investment properties. As a mortgage broker, I have personally funded over 500 million dollars in real estate loans. I have acquired numerous properties in Southern California and across the country.

In 2000, I started teaching "The Top 15 Laws of Highly Successful Real
Estate Investors" at several Southern California Colleges and Universities.
That class became very popular so I wrote a new course, How to Get the
Absolute Best Loan fro Your Home or Investment Property. I teach these
seminars 25 times a year because I love to educate my students that by choosing the right kind of financing, you can become wealthy by buying and holding property.

I spend my days helping people acquire income-producing real estate through using the equity in their existing properties. I now mentor hundreds of real estate investors across the country, and also coach budding real estate agents and mortgage brokers.Real estate has been so good to me that now I speak internationally at real estate groups and entrepreneur conventions!"
